PLATFORM LAUNCH PREPARATION

Your information.
Handled privately.

Platform privacy notice · Updated October 8, 2026. Dispatch reviews paid requests before assignment.

Information in your workspace

When connected, Clerk manages sign-in and account verification, including a Google account if you choose it. LegalServeX keeps your account identifier, service requests, uploaded PDFs, payment status and visit reports in its private database on Neon. The application is hosted on Vercel.

Document reading and AI review

When you upload order PDFs, LegalServeX extracts readable text and sends supported-size document text to Vercel AI Gateway and an OpenAI model to propose case details. Document text can include names, addresses, case numbers and court information. Photos and precise GPS are excluded from this extraction. Unreadable scans, conflicting details and missing information need human review; AI output is not independent verification or legal approval. A customer or dispatcher must confirm the case details before use in a proof. Proof quality checks may separately send proof text and case/report facts when authorized by a dispatcher. Visit photos and exact GPS are excluded from those AI checks. The shared internal AI budget is capped at $1 per day; if it is reached or the service fails, documents remain saved for human review.

Payments

Stripe handles checkout and card information. LegalServeX receives the payment reference and status. Card numbers are not collected or stored by this website.

Visit location

A process server can capture GPS only by pressing the capture button and granting the device or browser location permission. A visit submission shares coordinates, device accuracy, capture time and report with the order’s customer and dispatcher. The site does not continuously track the device or collect background location.

iPhone visit drafts

The field app saves visit answers, report text and photos as encrypted drafts on the signed-in process server’s iPhone, using an account-specific key in the device secure storage. Saved drafts are not submitted reports. Interrupted submissions keep the same visit reference for manual retry and receipt verification; the app does not automatically upload drafts in the background. Once a report is confirmed as received, its local draft report and photo contents are replaced with a submission receipt. You can discard a local draft or remove a local receipt in More > Saved drafts. This does not delete a report already received by the server. The app requests camera access only when you choose to take a visit photo.

Who can access records

Customers can access their own orders. An approved process server can access assigned orders. Authorized dispatchers can review and coordinate orders. Records are not published in the public design preview.

Launch requirements

Business contact details, retention periods, account deletion procedures and the final privacy policy must be completed before live service launch. Avoid uploading real legal documents during payment or integration testing.
